Cricut Workshop 1: Make a Mug

  • 30 US dollars
  • DHMC Makerspace

Description

Tuesday, November 30 Open to Upper Elementary and Middle School Cost: $30 (includes workshop, materials, and a light snack) With the weather continuing to cool, thoughts are starting to turn to things that will help keep us warm. A steaming cup of hot chocolate, perhaps. Coffee. Tea. Hot cider. Even soup. Mugs hold them all. In this Cricut Workshop, students will take turns designing a 15 oz. mug on a computer using the Cricut program and then use the Cricut machine to infuse their one or two-color (their choice) design onto the mug. Students can make a mug for themselves or make a great, customized holiday gift for family or friends. This workshop, led by Julie Harajli (Jasmine’s mom), is a 1.25-hour workshop being offered three separate times (as Workshop 1, Workshop 2 and Workshop 3). The project will be the same each week (designing one 15 oz. mug). Students are welcome to register for one or multiple weeks. The finished product is dishwasher safe.
